This is one of the best wines I've had in a awhile -- the Lamura Nero D'Avola -- it's an approachable, pasta-friendly red which is bursting with vibrant fruit, together with some noticable cherry notes. This is nicely rounded with a bit of plummy bitterness that helps to make it so food friendly, yet it is FINE alone.
